Beyond its appearance, the 4946R-001 houses Patek Philippe’s celebrated Annual Calendar complication, displaying the day and month by hands alongside the date and moon phase at 6 o’clock. The mechanism automatically accounts for months of 30 and 31 days, requiring adjustment just once a year at the end of February.
