We have two options when you are looking to sell your watch:
- Outright purchase
- Consignment (sale and return)
To sell your watch with Solent Timepieces, fill in the form below with as much detail about your watch as possible; we’ll then get in contact with an offer. If you’re happy with the offer, we will insure your timepiece and you can post it to us. Or, if you’re close to our Portsmouth watch shop, we can arrange for a time to drop it directly to us.
Listing on Consignment is FREE and final sales fees are as below:
Minimum £400
£20,000 & Under – 6%
£20,001 to £40,000 – 5%
£40,001 to £75,000 – 4%
£75,001 & Over – 3%
How It Works
All our services are carried out at our premises via appointment only
- Fill in the form with your watch/watches details and images to reflect the quality of your items. (This needs to be as accurate as possible)
- We will get in touch to learn more and make you an offer
- An appointment can be arranged for you to come to our showroom with your watch. If you would prefer we can insure your timepiece and you just pop it in the post.
- We carry out a thorough inspection of your watch including condition or authentication
- If an outright purchase, you will be paid out within 48 hours of us receiving your watch via bank transfer
